Chat window status not changing (FG 2.9)

The chat window status does not change when ALT or SHIFT are pressed. It is behaving correctly when text is added to the chat log, and then changes briefly, but this is a regression.

Only happens in the new FG 2.9 (using SW 3.2)

Issue has been fixed in SWFI extension with 4E style coding suited for SW ruleset. You might want to check it out.
