Improved versions of Edges

Do we need to be slavishly devoted to the text in the book or can we improve on it for this medium?
I am not suggesting we change the text to any great degree but when an NPC has Improved Sweep (and not Sweep) and the GM clicks the little icon to bring up the text to remind themselves what it does and it says "As above but the hero may ignore the -2 penalty." it's not really very helpful. If we do need to remain faithful could we add in a link within the descriptive text to the "above" mention?
