DLR red and blue bennie roll modifiers

One of the setting specific rules for DLR is the different colour chips used as bennies can do different things over and above a standard bennie/white chip. I am finding it difficult to implement the additional d6 that a red or blue bennie can add to a trait roll. The players can of course roll a d6 separately and this will now ace but it has to be then manually factored into the trait roll total which breaks a lot of the automations. I was wondering if it might be possible to simply allow use of the +dam die roll modifier to add an aceable? d6 to trait rolls not just damage rolls as it does presently - that way players could just click on it before making the roll if they want to say use a red bennie and it would all get nicely added together.

Rules of Red and Blue Fate Chips are more complicated then just rolling extra d6. It would require complex UI for support all use cases. Instead of built-in support, this can easily be managed manually.

Suspect as Fate Chips will no longer exist in Deadlands SWADE, this will not happen...
